Founded in 1954 to fulfill the dearest wish of empowering and bringing
prosperity to the nation, Inha University stands for the Ideals of building
students' characters, searching for the truth and serving society in order to
embody the University's founding principles of creativity, diligence and
service.
“Truth” the school’s motto, indicates we as a research university endeavor to contribute to improving the nation as well as all human society, to embark on great ventures into the world, and to attain academic achievements in our quest for truth through continuous education and training. On the basis of the above ideals, we strive to attain the following goals to build character in our students, foster healthy ideas, and achieve our educational objective of cultivating talented individuals who will contribute to the development of the nation and human society by studying profound theories and applying them in reality.

Industry-Academic Cooperation Foudation
1. Affairs of Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundations
* Manage accounting related to industry-academia-research cooperation projects;
* Acquire and manage intellectual property rights;
* Support facilities and management of the relevant university;
* Transfer technologies and promote the commercialization thereof;
* Remunerate persons who provide technology related to invention made in the course of duties and persons who conduct research related thereto;
* Assist teaching staff members and students of industrial educational institutions in starting up a new business, and encourage them to develop entrepreneurship;
* Conduct other activities specified, related to industry-academia-research cooperation.
2. Revenues of Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundations
* Earnings, securities and other goods with economic value by the industry-academia-research cooperation agreement;
* Earnings, securities and other goods with economic value as a result of the industry-academia-research cooperation;
* Contributions received concerning industry-academia-research cooperation;
* Operating earnings from the school enterprise established by a national university, a public university or an industry-academic cooperation foundation;
* Dividend and other earnings from the industry-academic cooperation technology holding company;
* Other earnings as prescribed, such as income from interests, etc.
Inha University Technology Holding Company
1. Business Activities of Technology Holding Companies
* Assisting subsidiaries in making initial public offerings;
* A merger between a subsidiary and other company, sale of all or some of the stocks of a subsidiary, transfer of all or part of the business of a subsidiary, or the division of a subsidiary;
* Assisting a subsidiary in procuring funds;
* Leasing facilities to subsidiaries;
* Transferring technology owned by a technology holding company established for industry-academia-research cooperation (hereinafter referred to as "technology holding company") to a subsidiary, commercializing such technology, and promoting the transfer and commercialization of technology owned by subsidiaries;
* Activities for publicity, education, training, and marketing for subsidiaries;
* Cooperating with business incubators, laboratory factories, cooperative research institutes provided for in Article 37 (1) of the Act, and enterprises and research institutes established and operated in a technopark or school premises;
* Transferring technologies owned by a technology holding company to industrial enterprises;
* Creating or operating an investment association to commercialize technologies owned by a technology holding company or invested in subsidiaries;
* Facilitating the transfer of technologies owned by the relevant industrial education institution or research institute to industrial enterprises, etc. and the commercialization of such technologies;
* Assisting industrial institutions and companies, other than the relevant industrial education institution and subsidiaries, in technology, management, education, and training.
I-Startup Lab(Accelerator)
* Founded the accelerator on March 29, 2018
* Discover and nurture startups with a unique program called Startup Series, further fund raising and investing in excellent startups
* Mentoring and customized education support for startup that have been discovered with a plan to discover everything from students interested in university startups to domestic and foreign excellent startups
* Linking investment in excellent startups through holding demo day
* Introduction of major business
※ Accelerator(startup planner): The main tasks are selection, investment, and professional childcare of early founders(those who are within 3 years of business start). The relevant law is Article 19-2 of the Small and Medium Business Startup Support Act, which is a company registered with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups under the Commercial Act.
